Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Yal Novels application, installing it, or purchasing its license, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the application or purchase a license.
2. License
The Yal Novels application provides access to its core features for an indefinite period (which may extend to one year or more) without requiring a paid license, except for the Export page which requires a dedicated license to enable.
Purchasing a license constitutes the user's acknowledgement that they are fully informed about the application's nature, features, and suitability, and is evidence that the user has used and benefited from the application prior to purchase.
When a license is purchased, the user is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Export feature within the application for the duration and under the terms specified at the time of purchase.
The user must not:
- copy, modify, or redistribute the application;
- perform reverse engineering or attempt to extract the source code.
3. Payment and Refunds
Because users can try and use the application's core features before purchasing a license, all license purchases are final and non-refundable.
Exceptions may be made in exceptional technical or financial circumstances, such as:
- accidental duplicate payment;
- failure to activate the license due to a verifiable technical fault on our side.
4. Intellectual Property
Ownership of texts, files, and content created by the user within the application remains with the user, while all software, interfaces, design, and system intellectual property belong to Yal IT Consulting and may not be reused or reproduced without prior permission.
5. Disclaimer
The Yal Novels application is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties; we do not guarantee it is free of defects, interruptions, or compatible with all devices and systems.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yal IT Consulting shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application or the inability to use it.
7. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the application after changes have been published constitutes implicit acceptance of the updated terms.
